Man's new Best Friend?

Contrary to popular beliefs, cats are social animals. They respond to speech and enjoys human company. In fact, they are the number one pet in the world, not dogs...

Here's some shots of cats that I had the pleasure of capturing... anyway, here's the disclaimer a friend said I should put: No animals were harmed in the process of getting these shots! Then again, you all knew that already, right?

This mother and child portrait was the result of a stroke of good luck. I was taking a cab home and the driver took a wrong turn. Thus, I decided to take a walk rather than asking him to turn back. I chanced upon this pair in less than 10 steps from where I dropped of.

Was waiting for a friend underneath my block. For once, I was thankful that anyone was late!

Even cats love fizzy drinks. This one was upset that someone removed his drink...

This cat belongs to a dear old friend whom has helped me through various matters bothering me in my life. Should try to arrange a meeting with him soon. Anyway, the name of the cat is Tiger.

Man's best Friend

A small collection of dogs' pics here. I would love a chance to work with a husky. But here's the shots that I like so far.

Dear old Rusty. :)

There goes the Sun!

The sun is the source of all life. This is my little way of paying tribute to it. Of course I am not talking about taking a direct shot of the sun.

I was intending to upload another set of photos today but I promised a friend of mine to upload the last few of this set. So here goes, hopefully they are, again, enjoyable!

This one was taken on the way to dinner at Ang Mo Kio with a few close friends after work. Here, I like to thank them for making my work place much more than bearable. :)

I was waiting for a friend, again for dinner, when I took this shot at Jalan Kayu.

This was a shot taken at Labrador Park. I was with a friend who rekindled my passion in photography.

The next few shots are the ones that I had promised I would post fast. These shots were taken at Sentosa Island.

The Tree

I spent almost 6 hours under the natural elements to capture these pictures. Someone I know scolded me for being so "stupid". :(

Here's the shots that I like from that day. You be the judge and let me know if the words of that particular someone is true...

PS. I must state that I do not enjoy the process of sweating under the sun but if I have to, I have to. :P

Masters of the Sky!

Haiz, I have some difficulties sleeping tonight. I assume it's due to my bad mood again. Let's hope that I can solve the problem on hand soon so that I can go on with my life.

Anywayz, I have another set of photos to show. This time it's on our feathered friends. I hope you enjoy these shots.

It's not everyday that I see birds "kissing". So I guess this qualifies as an interesting shot.

Talk about having a punk hairstyle!

I was lucky to have this model posing for me.

Reminds me of the birds in the Disney version of 'Snow White and the seven Dwarfs'.

A Bird of Paradise.

The same Bird of Paradise calling out.

A wild one that I caught at Sungei Buloh.

What you looking at? I was actually quite close to this ostritch. Luckily it did not peck at Nikona.

A colourful bird.

Shadow play. This shot was taken at a tree that I fell in love with. I should post some pictures of that tree here. It would be done soon. :)

The Creepy Ones

I originally wanted to post one article per week. But since I am kind of feeling down. Decided to try to cheer me up by putting up this one.

We see insects everyday of our lives. Here's a small tribute to their beauty (that is, if one is open minded enough to call them beautiful)!

I was lucky enough for this creature to land on my hand. Had to juggle with camera with my left hand to capyure this shot.

Another shot of a butterfly.

I've always wanted to catch a picture of an ant. This was my first attempt.

Kinda got attracted by the barbed wire.

I was pleasantly surprised by the "glow" about the head.

I know spiders are not really insects, but I just had to include this shot. My hands were trembling with fear when I took this shot. This spider was a huge one - I wouldn't want it to land on me or Nikona.

My pride and joy in the insect department. This shot took me two hours of waiting. It was worth the wait.
